Used on static positions and atop our Jackal platform, each 50.cal HMG fires a 12.7mm round.

Seen here during a Platform Weapon Operators course, all troopers within F Sqn @westminsterdragoonsry and the @theroyalyeomanry are expected to master the weapon.

Several members of F Sqn have taken the opportunity to learn the ropes aboard Army Offshore Sailing Centre boats giving them more experience towards their RYA crew competency qualifications.

Working closely with other members of the @theroyalyeomanry and @royalyeomanryband, soldiers learned how to operate Hallberg Rassy sailing vessels in the waters of the Solent.

As the winter season draws to a close, a quick congratulations to the Dragoons that competed at the Royal Armoured Corps ski championships.

Competing for the RY, QDG and as part of a pan yeomanry ski team, soldiers got the opportunity to learn ski racing across a range of different disciplines. These opportunities are offered to all soldiers in the Army Reserves and further drive their athletic ability.
